Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Giftahub platform (including website, mobile web experiences, and API integrations), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all terms outlined herein, you must immediately cease accessing and using our services.

2. User Account Registration & Safety

To launch celebration pages or list products as a vendor, you must create a registered account. You are responsible for ensuring that all registration information provided (including real name, email, phone number, and bank account details) is truthful and current.

You are fully responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Giftahub reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide misleading information or engage in suspicious activity.

3. Celebration Campaigns, Target Gifts & Payouts

Giftahub allows registered celebrants to build customized milestone pages, define target gift goals, and accept monetary or e-gift contributions from supporters.

• Fund Transfers: Monetary contributions are processed securely via third-party payment gateways (e.g. Paystack) and disbursed to the celebrant's verified bank account.
• Platform & Gateway Fees: Platform processing fees and payment gateway transaction costs are clearly disclosed prior to transaction finalization.
• No Guaranteed Target Outcome: Reaching target goal prices is dependent on supporter participation. Celebrants retain access to funds collected regardless of target completion percentage.

4. Vendor Merchant Terms

Merchants offering physical gifts, cakes, or experiences through Giftahub vendor marketplace must comply with our Merchant Standards:

• Vendors must provide accurate product imagery, pricing, and fulfillment delivery timelines.
• Orders claimed or purchased by celebrants must be fulfilled promptly in accordance with promised specifications.
• Merchant payouts are subject to compliance verification and order fulfillment confirmation.

5. Prohibited Conduct

Users and vendors agree not to engage in prohibited activities, including but not limited to:

• Creating fraudulent campaigns or soliciting funds under false pretenses.
• Using the platform for money laundering, illegal gambling, or illegal transactions.
• Harassing celebrants or supporters in comment sections or reaction feeds.
• Attempting to bypass platform security measures or reverse engineer system software.

6. Limitation of Liability

Giftahub provides the platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. Giftahub shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from platform downtime, payment processing delays by third-party banks, or unauthorized user conduct.
